APRES LA CHUTE at Dubai Film Festival 2009

APRES LA CHUTE, by the kurdish director Hiner Saleem, has been screened at the 6th Dubai Film Festival 2009.

The shooting of this low-budget co-production by mitosfilm with Agat Films CIE, Paris, took place completely on location in Berlin.
APRES LA CHUTE displays the impact of a political event on a Kurdish family, which came together to follow the fall of Saddam Hussein on TV in Berlin. Old scars break open and new revelations are made, and not all conflicts between the family members can be solved until dawn.

25.5.2009 Ghobadi-Film “No One Knows ABOUT PERSIAN CATS” won the Special Jury Prize in Cannes

We are happy to announce that the new film by Bahman Ghobadi, KASI AZ GORBEHAYE IRANI KHABAR NADAREH (NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT PERSIAN CATS) won the Special Jury Prize ex aequo in the section "Un Certain Regard".
